Given the developing situation with COVID-19, is it likely that the ESRS 2020 might be cancelled?
We are monitoring the news concerning the 2019-nCoV virus very closely. According to the current situation, there is no reason to relocate or even cancel the congress.

I have bought a conference cancellation insurance with the registration. Do I get full refund if I cancel my participation due to COVID-19?
We are in contact with the European travel insurance (ERV) about the conditions of cancellation. ERV grants insurance protection if the insured person is unable to start the booked travel service as a result of epidemics (see 2.2 b of the insurance’s terms and conditions). We advise to contact the insurance directly in case of any questions.

When is the latest date that I can register?
You can register before the conference starts as well as directly onsite at the conference secretariat.

What actions are planned for the ESRS 2020 for the safety of participants?
The safety of our participants and speakers is our top priority. We have identified potential risks and developed a detailed action plan. We follow safety guidelines of the WHO (World Health Organisation) and implement on-site measures (hygiene facilities, minimisation of crowding, social distancing guidelines, etc.) to minimise the risks. We also work together with local and national public health authorities.
